Post 264
Department of California - Lincoln, California
The American Legion was originally chartered in 1919 as a patriotic, wartime, veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. The James E. Fowler Post #264 was chartered in May 1921 to recognize local veterans. The Post is named in honor of a Lincoln area businessman and farmer, James E. Fowler, who lost his life in France during World War I. Today, the Post works within the community helping veterans, and rendering students with basic scholarships who demonstrate outstanding civic awareness and honor the American spirit. Our Post stands ready to assist any and all veterans in need.
